The Contemporary MG Workshop will include presentations from 3 published authors on mastering the elements of a compelling contemporary MG novel, including Plot, Character, and Voice. There will be writing exercises, as well, so bring a pen and paper. The workshop will also include a roundtable discussion regarding the presenters’ roads to publication.
Date: June 17, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM (Eastern Daylight) to 4:00 (Eastern Daylight).
Location: Spencer County High School Library, 520 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville, KY 40071. Conveniently located near Louisville, Taylorsville is less than 15 miles from I-64, the Bluegrass Parkway, and the Gene Snyder Freeway.
The Spencer County High School librarian has generously agreed to give up a summer Saturday so that we can have a wonderful space for the workshop at no cost, which has allowed us to offer a very reasonable tuition to you. Please bring a new or gently used MG or YA book to donate to the library.
